TJ Cloutier was one of the very few poker players who managed to to cash in on the success at a recent poker event. Caldwell came to his ultimate conquest with the help of his friends. A few months prior to the tournament, several of his buddies in the Toronto, Ontario area decided to host a mini-satellite, with the top prize being a trip to Las Vegas with an entry fee into a gold bracelet event. Caldwell won the first battle. Then, he won the second, too.
CLOUTIER JUST BEHIND NGUYEN
TJ Cloutier is just behind Men Nguyen in terms of the WSOP finals table. Hellmuth leads a couple of other lists with the most all-time WSOP cashes (79) and most all-time final tables (40). He'll likely preserve his lead in the former, with Men Nguyen well behind in second with 70 cashes. Men Nguyen has 39 WSOP final tables, though, and T.J. Cloutier 38, so that record could be challenged.

CLOUTIER SELLS BRACELETS
TJ Cloutier has sold his bracelets online for charity. The item is presently up for sale on ebay, and with less than 9 hours left before the auction closes has reached a current price of $3,550.00. It is believed Cloutier sold his most recent WSOP memento, the 2005 World Series of Poker $5K No Limit Bracelet, to the Plano Pawn Shop who then decided to place the item on ebay themselves.
POKER STARS GIVE BRACELETS TO AUCTION
TJ Cloutier was amongst the number of stars who gave away their bracelets for auction. At the moment eBay hosts an auction for Paul Clarke’s bracelet won on the World Series of Poker’s 1999 edition. The bracelet seems to have been sold to a third party, but the offers go for as far as $3,850 and the auction takes place in four days. Another case of WSOP bracelets for sale is represented by T.J. Cloutier’s bracelet, which has been sold for $4,006 to Cake Poker, one of the greatest “play poker online” website, returning afterwards the bracelet to Cloutier.
WSOP RATINGS DECREASE
WSOP on ESPN ratings were down 16% from last year despite having the likes of TJ Cloutier still in contention. The overall ratings for the first six weeks of WSOP coverage on ESPN have garnered a 0.67 rating, with a rating of 1.0 meaning that approximately 1.1 million viewers were watching a program. This would give the WSOP on ESPN an average of 737,000 viewers over the first six weeks of broadcasting. Compared to 2009, when the first six weeks pulled in a 0.79 rating (869,000 viewers), the ratings have dropped approximately 16%.

Apparently, T.J. Cloutier’s 2005 WSOP bracelet is up for grabs on eBay right now (read about that victory here). Starting bid is $2,999, and we’d be surprised if it fetched that much. You can probably buy one of Layne Flack’s bracelets for a handjob in the back alley of Caesar’s right now. Bracelets aren’t hard to come by these days.

This afternoon, rumors spread around the poker industry that Cake Poker, which had purchased T.J. Cloutier’s 2005 World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet, was planning to return the piece to its rightful owners. Poker News Daily can now confirm those rumblings.
